"He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well.

Is that not what it means to know me?" declares the LORD.

Jeremiah 22:16

Welcome to International Help of Missionaries. In 2008, IHM was established on the principals and direction of missionaries who serve in developing countries. Missionaries who have given their lives to serve and help the poor, uneducated and those who lack hope for a better life.

Our goal is to supply these dedicated men and women the necessary resources to achieve their goals above and beyond their expectations and enable those less fortunate in the world to begin a new frontier of hope. Our current programs create opportunities, through education, for children and young adults to become productive, innovative and self-sustaining faith driven adults in their communities and villages. They can become beacons of light and hope for the world around them, now and into the future. International Help of Missionaries is nonsectarian and helps all people in great need throughout the world.  100% of your donations go directly to help the program of your choice! We do not use any portion of your donation for overhead, salaries or expenses. We are a completely volunteer organization.

Help from IHM in New Ayoma & Blekusu

2018 was a great year for IHM and the many villages we were able to deliver clean water to! 2018 we were able tobring clean water to 20 villages including Nigeria, Uganda and Ghana Africa over 40,000 villagers were able to finally have clean waterto drink right in their communities. Saving lives and eliminating countless hours of fetching water is our goal!

We are very grateful to our donors for the ability to do this life saving work!

Much more needs to be done and hundreds of millions of people worldwide still suffer and die everyday from drinking contaminated water! (see picture of village of Odumase before and after pictures of the difficulty getting water).

  • We've instituted tutoring programs for junior high school students to help them advance to higher grades of education.
  • We support and help sustain the Father Dogli Memorial Trade School (FDMTS) in New Ayoma, offering educational programs in farming, construction, office skills and computer sciences.
  • We've aided the Adekyee grammar school in the Jasikan district of Ghana with much needed supplies and a school bus. We also raised funds for a water pump for the school which is now operational.
  • We're making plans for mentoring and education sponsorship programs for children whose families cannot afford to give them an education, and help children who work to continue their education.
  • We support communities in attaining access to clean water and sustainable food supplies.

Above are some photos of Ghana, taken while one of our Board members was there. The image on the left shows some of the living conditions in Nkoranza; on the right, how villagers from just outside of Berekum got water for cooking, bathing, cleaning and drinking.

Here is a link to a village called Ndasamin where we finished a bore hole. This video was taken before the drilling.

Below are photos of an emergency relief effort IHM did in Blekusu. The people of the village, about 600 adults and children, were displaced by a massive flood, and for a few weeks they had to live on the side of the road, or at the school, with no food. With Fr. Patrick Asamoah's help, we were able to distribute enough food and supplies to carry them through until they were able to return home or find another place to live.

Our projects  are helping people in, Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda and the United States.

Silenadre is located in the Ziope area, and has a population of approximately 300. The town folks were trekking about a kilometer and a half to fetch water from the dam which has completely dried up. Now they are traveling 6km to access water and travel by motorcycle.

Akukorkpo and Kopedeka are in the Mafi area. Water is collected from unsafe sources. Water dugouts which are small and discolored Children are the most affected, sadly mothers do not have a choice but use it as drinking water for the children which is unboiled. These towns have a population of 200 and 150 respectively.

International Help Of Missionaries has now helped over 200,000 people with clean water since 2011 when we started our water programs!
